What is the benefit of replacing Halogen bulbs to H.I.D (Xenon) gas bulbs?

Xenon bulbs produces up to five times more light, gives greater contrast, uses less energy, and has a higher life expectancy than halogen bulbs. It is the best type of headlight bulb offered in the market.

Does this kit require any sort of special modification or professional installation?

This is a plug-n-play HID kit that does not require any special modifications of wiring or plugs. However, we recommend a professional to do the installation if you are not comfortable with the electrical wiring.

Is it normal for HID bulbs to take a little longer to fully light up?

Yes. It generally takes 15-30 seconds for the Xenon bulbs to fully heat up to operating temperatures.

What color do the bulbs in this HID kit illuminate?

At a color temperature of 6000k, these Prius Xenon HID bulbs will give off a bright white color, with subtle hints of blue. See images below:

At this time, we only offer Xenon bulbs at 6000k because it is the most common color. Vehicle headlamp laws may vary depending on the area you live in.

What does the one year warranty include?

The warranty will cover all components included in this kit against manufacturer defect. Parts that have been damaged however, in any way or form, will void your warranty. Slicing wires will also void your warranty. In general, turnaround time for product replacement will take 1-3 business days. Average life of an HID kit is 3000 hours.
