This module adds a 12 Volt power Outlet to the Prius. The Toyota Prius has two 12 Volt power outlets, one inside the console and one in the dash. When the car is turned off both of these outlets are inactive and cannot be used as a constant source of power. This module will allow the front power outlet to be available for use at all times with no extra power drain. None of the other systems are affected in any way. With the front outlet continuously active, any accessory can be utilized. The front and console power outlet fuses will remain intact and continue to protect their respective outlets. Also small solar panel can be easily attached to maintain the 12 Volt battery or for use in jumping the car should the 12 Volt battery become discharged.

This Prius Accessory adds an automatic door lock feature for added comfort and safety. This is typically a common feature in most cars, but is not in the Prius. The plug-in kit signals the doors to automatically lock when the car accelerates past 15 mph. It performs this function only once when the car is initially driven and remains invisible the rest of the time. It does not interfere with the remote control, door switches or automatic entry and is designed to seamlessly add this safety feature to the normal enjoyment of your car.
